BUTOX vs. BOTOX Trademark Litigation: Successfully represented the owner of the BUTOX trademark, securing a landmark Federal Court decision that overturned the BRPTO’s rejection and ordered the registration of the mark. This case established an important precedent on the principle of specialty for marks in the same class serving distinct markets.
Pharmaceutical Patent Term Adjustment: Acting in Federal Courts on behalf of leading pharmaceutical companies to secure patent term adjustments to compensate for unreasonable delays by the BRPTO.
