Cooperation Between Europe and Latin America
From February 4 to 6, the Brazilian PTO and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) held a series of events in Rio de Janeiro focused on intellectual property cooperation and innovation between Europe and Latin America.
The initiative was part of the IP Key Latin America project, led by the European Commission and implemented by the EUIPO, to promote IP and innovation in the region.
The program began on February 4 with the IP Key LA Summit 2025, a virtual event where national and international experts discussed public policies, anti-piracy efforts, IP education, artificial intelligence, and geographical indications.
On February 5, the event focused on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), The last day of the event had a focus on IP and Inclusion: Young Designers and Women Innovators.
